Below; the limit of architectural obsolescence
The study focuses on the musealization of the existing heritage, critically exploring why a large part of it has become monuments and architecture has transformed into a pictorial entity. It specifically centers on the Roman heritage of Tarragona, a city of historical significance with a notable amount of preserved heritage. The main objective is the redesign of one of the vaults of the Roman circus, currently unused, in order to provide a service that actively integrates the city into its interior. The proposed redesign seeks to reactivate the space, turning it into a dynamic focal point that serves both the historical memory and the practical needs of the community.
