Blust

BLUST is a medical device made of a Transport Unit and a Charging Unit. It is designed to transport blood samples in remote regions of Africa, mainly in Sudan, Niger, the D.R. Congo, and the Central African Republic. Blood samples must travel hundreds of kilometers through wild terrain under extreme conditions, maintaining a temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Frequent lack of stable electricity impedes the generation of cold, causing the samples to become unusable. The interior of Blust is composed of a modular system that acts as a thermal bridge between the UC and medical equipment, optimizing the available space without compromising the integrity and protection of the samples.
