DLyte Mini First – Tecnología de pulido automatizado para prótesis dentales
This industrial design project focuses on redesigning an electropolishing machine for surface treatment of cobalt-chromium and titanium RPDs. Developed at GPAINNOVA, it aims to create a more compact, affordable, and accessible version of the DLyte Mini, maintaining surface quality and reliability. Addressing high cost and size issues of the original model, the research followed exploratory, generative, and evaluative phases. A functional prototype was created and tested for surface roughness and mass loss. Results show improved usability, 30% cost reduction, and performance equal to the previous model, making the DLyte Mini First ideal for smaller labs and clinics.
