Physical activity is essential to public health; however, calisthenics parks in Barcelona are predominantly used by young men, revealing barriers that limit broader participation. Developed in collaboration with Mein, this project analyzes these spaces from social, cultural, and environmental perspectives to identify factors affecting accessibility and user experience.

The outcome is “The Tree,” a complementary urban structure designed to improve the functionality and inclusivity of calisthenics facilities. Inspired by the morphology of a tree, it integrates shading, lighting, and a distinctive visual identity to enhance comfort, safety, and promote more inclusive use.
