Ex Génesis Lapidae is a project that seeks to reawaken the bond between designer and material, honoring the value found within the byproducts of the paper industry. In its initial phase, it explores the transformation of paper mill sludge into an innovative new substance, blending sustainability with creative experimentation to open fresh avenues in graphic and product design.

In the subsequent phase, this material is crafted into a three-dimensional vessel for ratafía, shaped like a stone. This form evokes the ancient connection between humanity, design, and matter. Accompanying the vessel, a two-dimensional label enriches the story with a compelling visual narrative.
