Hexia One: Modular Frame
Modular chassis for an urban electric motorcycle combines metal additive manufacturing (SLM in Ti-6Al-4V) with a tubular steel front frame to enable a lightweight, upgradable platform. Designed for continuous improvement, it reduces components while optimizing rigidity, manufacturability, and structural performance. Through advanced simulations and desing for additive manufacturing, the project demonstrates how engineering and additive manufacturing can converge to meet the demands of future urban mobility. It showcases the potential of new technologies to revolutionize vehicle development—offering scalability, customization, and longevity, while setting a precedent for innovation.
