Karpí

Karpí is a project that arises in response to Kave Home's initiative to experiment with technology applied to their furniture. Fusing ancient craftsmanship with a programmable hardware solution, it aims to give "life" to the home and enable the creation of a relationship of mutual care between the home and its users. Bands created through tablet weaving incorporate air quality sensors that measure the "constants" of the space. Thanks to vibration motors equipped in the bands, the information can be communicated to the user in a non-intrusive way, through touch. It is of utmost importance to strengthen the relationship by empowering the user; therefore, the aim is not to take automated measur
