KHANGSAR – Sherpa’s Workers Uniform

The Khangsar project consists of the design and development of a dual-functional device, which acts as a backpack and rescue stretcher, aimed at improving the working conditions of Sherpas on Everest expeditions. This portable and adaptable device allows an efficient response to emergency situations, increasing the safety and speed of rescues. The implementation of ultralight and resistant materials, such as high molecular weight polyethylene fabric and carbon fiber, significantly improves Khangsar's portability and adaptability to the demanding conditions of Everest.
