KOMMA – Kit Operational Modular de Micrologística Aérea
KOMMA proposes the design of a modular system for transporting human waste and SOS supplies via drones on Mount Everest. The accumulation of waste on the mountain presents a critical environmental and logistical challenge, affecting both the conservation of the environment and the safety of climbers. Currently, climbers are required to carry 5 kg of their own waste, which directly impacts their health and performance.
This micro-logistics system, composed of three modules specifically designed for different types of cargo (equipment and first aid kits, oxygen bottles, and human waste), aims to address this issue by relieving climbers of the physical burden of carrying such loads. The modular
