Lo Que Mos Fa Ser
This photobook is based on the traditional game of birllas in Campo (Huesca) as a way of understanding memory, identity, and rural life. Through photography and archival research, it reveals how a simple activity can preserve stories, relationships, and shared ways of living. For generations, birllas has been an important social space for women, where experiences, conversations, and knowledge were exchanged beyond the domestic sphere. Although rural life and traditions continue to change, birllas remains a living practice that brings people together. The project creates a contemporary archive linking past and present, reflecting cultural identity through everyday experiences and continuity.
