Every year new improvement proposals are studied for hospital centers, especially at the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, focused on oncology, maternity and infancy. These improvements are crucial, as the hospital followsdifferentiated dynamics and supports many international families, highlighting Spain in the health field. Without belittling the proposals implemented so far, I suggest an additional improvement: creating a space dedicated to family visits for inpatients. Currently, the hospital layout has not adequately considered family visits, affecting the patient experience. The difficulty in finding an effective layout may be due to limited walls.
