Prodapt 2.0. Prótesis transhumeral de última generación, una solución adaptativa inteligente. Diseño del sistema eléctrico e integración de estructuras lattice en el socket
ProDapt began in 2022-2023 as a personal initiative by Manel Martínez and Aitana Ballerini. In 2023-2024, it became a Final Degree Project (TFG), developing a personalized, intelligent transtibial prosthesis. In 2024-2025, the project continues, now focusing on a transhumeral prosthesis with smart materials and lattice structures for enhanced comfort and safety. A parametric algorithm 2.0 dynamically adapts the prosthesis to the patient’s movements. Development includes additive manufacturing, 3D scanning, printed electronics, generative design, and topological optimization, aiming to improve the quality of life for individuals with transhumeral amputations.
