This project explores the optimization of a polymer cage for tapered roller bearings used in the rear differential of a Mercedes-Benz.
By combining industrial design and engineering simulation, the final solution improves high-rpm performance, reduces weight, and enables automated assembly addressing the new demands of electric mobility with precision and functionality.
