This plate is empty!

This project was born from the need to perceive food as a conscious experience. It examines this phenomenon through three disciplines: ritual, symbolism, and spirituality. The project reflects on the moment when food stops being simply nutrition and becomes an object of meaning, capable of connecting people with community, collective memory, and the sacred.
The research culminates in a collection of stackable tableware with a dual function. It acts as a spiritual altar for presenting and blessing food, while also serving as practical tableware designed for communal dining, offering a critical reflection on our relationship with food.
