USM Modular Speaker
This project explores sound as an architectural material through a modular speaker system designed to integrate seamlessly with USM Haller furniture, powered by the Haller-E system. The magnetic speaker panels interact with existing sound-absorbing panels, allowing users to customize the acoustic environment.
Beyond a technical solution, it offers a sensitive design approach that uses listening to inhabit and reshape space. Maintaining the USM Haller aesthetic, it creates adaptable acoustic zones for both home and work settings, balancing technology, materiality, and experience in an object that transforms its environment.
