XAKANA
Xakana is a project that exposes the invisible identity struggles of bicultural migrants those who don’t feel fully part of their country of origin nor the new place they’ve arrived in. Through objects, the project creates a space for reflection and emotional connection with both cultures, emphasizing that both deserve to be celebrated.
The result is a kit designed to support bicultural and migrant individuals, offering them recognition, guidance, and a sense of belonging. It includes visual dictionaries, adaptation journals, symbolic board games, and services like an app that help to reconnect with both sides of their identity, affirming that they can belong to both cultures.
